ICPHSO Annual Meeting to Take Place in February 2014

More than 700 product safety professionals from around the globe will convene at the ICPHSO 2014 Annual Meeting and Training Symposium, taking place in Orlando, Florida from 25-28 February 2014.
The International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organization (ICPHSO) annually welcomes a global audience of regulators, retailers, manufacturers, consumers, standards and testing organizations, and other product safety professionals to its four-day symposium, where discussions are held regarding best practices and emerging tools related to the product safety landscape. Topics will include: managing safety in an increasing complicated regulatory environment at the state, federal and international levels; responsible sourcing and supply chain management; and the connections between product safety and corporate social responsibility, sustainability and trade.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Health Canada, and other national regulators will be on-hand to share product and consumer safety regulatory updates from around the world.
A “CPSC and ABA Day” on Thursday, February 27th will include a morning session presented by CPSC Commissioners and staff, and an afternoon American Bar Association (ABA) seminar focusing on legal aspects and developments related to consumer product safety.
