Directors of 14 of the International Council of Toy Industries' (ICTI) 19 national member associations met for their 38th Annual General Meeting in London, England May 14-16, 2012 to discuss industry performance in 2011, forecasts for 2012 and plans to continue to grow the toy business into the future. Presiding was ICTI President Arnie Rubin, representing the North American Toy Industry Association.
The conference program featured panel discussions on key industry issues including the harmonization of national product safety standards, environmental sustainability, marketing to children, ethical manufacturing, and promotion of the value of play.
The event was hosted by the British Toy and Hobby Association (BTHA) at Great Foster’s Hotel near Egham, Surrey. This imposing structure was once a royal hunting lodge used by English monarchs beginning with Henry VIII in the 16th century.

The award was presented by Mr. Rubin and was accepted by TOYBOX CEO Andy Stockbridge.
